Data mining is to simplify the use of statistics in order to infer trends and predict behavior. The aim of this book is to explain the possibilities of farms analytical tools and techniques of data mining to web sites, to increase returns through personalization methods.
The book is divided into three parts.
The first part describes why the book defines (or attempts to define) what data mining, the vocabulary used and the methods used. Y are described as concepts related websites (hits, pages, ...) and a brief study of the evolution of the structure of sites (moving from static sites to dynamic sites customized).

Unlike many books on this topic, it is easily readable and affordable for anyone interested in optimizing a web site and the search for improved returns it. Besides this clear writing, the structure of the book and its contents destined to become a reference on the subject.
The great criticism that we can do in this book is that it can seem a little superficial for those already initiated in the techniques of data mining. Admittedly, for once, the blurb in the 4th coverage does not claim anything ...
In summary, should buy this book? Yes, definitely. There are only two reasons why you might not like this book. The first is whether you are an expert in data mining. The second is if you do not try to improve your site ...
